Situated next to the town of Stockbridge, Hampshire is Stockbridge View campsite, a large flat grassy area surrounded by trees and hedgerows, the perfect setting for getting back to nature.
David from the campsite got in touch via our website with an idea of what he wanted to include in their new play area, “Something like a climbing fort with swings and a slide”. Kim from our sales team, headed down to Hampshire to meet David to look at the space and to run through some initial design ideas. We’ll also run through our warranties and the benefits of a wooden play area.
With photos and notes in hand, Kim created the brief for Amy, one of our playground designers. For all of our designs, we'll create 3D renders of your new play area, a lot of thought and consideration goes into them to make sure you can fully immerse yourself and really get a feel for how it will look in situ. We’ll also ask for your feedback to make sure we’ve understood your brief and if you’d like to make any amends, it’s just as important to us as it is to you to get it right!

Forts & castles, from our Imagination Play collection, are always a winner for any play area. They really allow kids to take themselves off to another world, especially when joined by their family and friends. And of course, no play area is complete without the playground favourite, the swing (we’ve got an article on our blog, The playground archives: swing set which explains the heritage of the swing).

Our install team will layout the play area on the ground to make sure you're happy with where it's being built (it's quite often at this point you'll really grasp the size of the play equipment), and get to work. Then it's over to the kids...
