“Castles in the Air” is founded, later becoming Home Front Outdoor Play as we know it today. However, the mission has always remained the same: creating high-quality outdoor play spaces that inspire imagination, adventure, and lasting childhood memories.
The launch of larger imaginative ranges, including adventure-inspired forts and ships, marked a new chapter for the business. These designs encouraged more creative, role-play focused adventures and helped shape our playful style.
Our original legacy collections evolved. Dream became Canyon, Fantasy became Jungle, Sky became Mountain, and so on. This created the foundation of our signature garden climbing frame collections that still remain fan favourites today.
The launch of our new website transformed how customers could explore and discover their dream play spaces. It gave families and businesses across the UK an easier way to discover our collections, custom options, and range of accessories.
2024 introduced exciting new additions to the Home Front family, including the Ridgeway Collection and Safari Style. These designs brought fresh creativity, more adventurous layouts, and a bold new direction for outdoor play.
Thirty years on, we continue to design, craft, and install exceptional outdoor play equipment across the UK. As demand has grown, so has our team, allowing us to create even more inspiring outdoor adventures while staying true to the mission that started it all.
