Occasionally, you may notice surface mildew, the first thing to mention is there is nothing to worry about.
Surface mildew lives on the outside of materials. It’s superficial which feeds on moisture, dust, pollen and natural sugars on the wood’s surface rather than the wood fibres. Due to the pressure treated timber we use, it doesn’t affect the structural integrity of the timber (you can read more about our timber here).
Surface mildew is very dependent on weather conditions and its environment, namely moisture and temperature.
There’s a couple of options:
