Wet Pour Playground Surfacing
Wet Pour is the most popular of the various types of playground surfacing available. And is what most people think of when they think of soft surfacing in play areas. Wet Pour offers a seamless covering in a choice of colours and, in the hands of an expert installer, the option of elaborate designs.
Wet Pour consists of rubber crumb which is held in place by durable resin binder. There are two grades of “crumb” – a coarse size which forms the base, and a finer size which is used for the top coat.
Its is trowelled in place over a hard surface, eg asphalt, concrete, type 1 etc to create a smooth surface.
Wet pour is available in a number of colours and this is where the facility to create patterns comes into its own.
The examples above show what can be done with a little imagination. From left a large Multiplay Clubhouse structure in a school, a Bespoke Playground in a holiday attraction and a Supership from our Adventure Play range.
