Playtrails - one of the most enduring and popular outdoor play area choices for schools. We can design a playtrail around your specific requirements incorporating as many or as few pieces as you wish. They can be arranged in any shape - in a straight line, in a circle or to follow a winding path throught the woods. And you can easily add more pieces later when funds allow. More details.
We call this Adventure Play - timber structures which really stretch children's imagination while providing a secure and safe environment for free or structured play. Huge flexibility in options and design, More details.
Our standard equipment is designed for Primary School Age Children (KS2, 7-11) but we can adapt the sizes both up and down to suit different age groups. For operators of other commercial environments (eg pubs) the equipment is clearly going to be used by children from other age groups, but we have found that the standard size is most suitable for the majority of users.
Please check whether planning permission is required for your location.
Normally any commercial system should incorporate safer surfacing - the EN standards lay out the performance of the material and area required. Please contact us for more information.

Useful information on Standards: There are two EN standards applying to outdoor play equipment: EN71 applies to residential equipment (and is mandatory) and EN1176 applies to commercial play equipment. All our commercial play ground installtions comply fully with EN1176. There is a further standard (EN1177) which refers to safer surfacing.
